Terra McAulliffe is an artist, educator and all-around “girl who gets stuff done.” She received her Associates of Fine Arts at Keystone College, and her BA in Art History and minor in World Religion from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She currently resides in Dunmore, PA and spends much of her time entrenched in the local arts, culture & wellness communities. In addition to creating her own artwork, Terra teaches in the Art Department at Keystone College, works at ProActive Family Chiropractic with her husband and is a Master Instructor of Tang Soo Do karate at UTA Dalton. She has a background in educational programming and has been working with, and hoping to inspire, students of all ages for most of her life – whether in karate, art or wellness (and sometimes all three). Terra also volunteers regularly with AFA Gallery, The Junior League of Scranton, and YogaJourneys.
Currently, Terra’s life is evolving in new and exciting ways as she is preparing to be a mother. Last year she became a wife and a step-mom – this year everyone is excited for this addition to their family. Terra looks forward to raising this baby with the same health, wellness and loving principles that YogaJourney’s promotes. She is also working on a new blog that will allow her to reach many more people who are interested in a happier & healthier life. Terra believes that wellness is a never-ending and expanding journey – you can tune in to that journey starting in June 2012 at www.happierhealthierblog.wordpress.org.
Terra has been involved with YogaJourneys since its inception – sometimes merely as a sounding board, sometimes as support and occasionally helping with content. YogaJourneys is a project and program that brings all of her loves together, and in so doing has the potential to impact and change many lives, which is what excites her most about being involved and on the Board. Terra looks forward to seeing and being a part of helping YogaJourneys expand and grow, as it continues to bring so much good to the world.
